Where does the name of our Café come from?
Fountain of the 2 friends
According to the parish councilIn 1853, two friends commissioned a public water fountain to be built on their street. This fountain, which provided public access to water at a time when it was only accessible through wells dug in backyards, became known as the "Fountain of the Two Friends" in honor of its builders.
Our café is located on the same street, just 21 meters from this centuries-old water fountain.
